I feel MUCH better!!

First of all, THANKS for all your concern and help!

I last ran 4 days ago. Haven't run a step since! Instead, I've been on the Elliptical every day since. Certainly not close to a run workout, but better than nothing, and it doesn't hurt my foot at all! :-)

For the past few days I've also taken ibuprofen pretty regularly, and stretched the foot a lot! It's feeling 1000% better now. Doesn't hurt at all unless I press on it. So maybe I won't press on it!

Today, after my hour on the elliptical, I ran 1.5 miles on the treadmill to see how my foot would feel. NO PAIN!!!

I'm SO pumped about this! We leave for Destin Friday morning and I LOVE to run on vacation! There is no better way to see a new place than on foot! Turn my Garmin on and go! SWEET!

So we will check back with all of you next week when I get back.

Everyone have a GREAT week and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Peace.....

Great news! Take it real easy and don't get too excited, you might need a few more days. But sounds like a big improvement!

Have a wonderful vacation and a happy halloween. :)

I'm so glad you're feeling better! Have a great vacation! (said with spite, because I'm jealous.)

And could that be the cutest kangaroo ever??? Yes. Yes, I think it is.

Kevin, I had plantar fasciitis. The pain was daily. Every morning after I got up I walked like a very old lady (ok, I am old, but I felt very old!!) It was really painful. After I changed shoes the pain has totally disappeared (more than 5 months w/o pain)... Any possibility your feet need new shoes?

Great recovery! I'm glad you're not a heel for trying to run too quickly! You have sole for taking your time! Run too quickly and you would have to foot the bill for it! Toe the line! Take your time!
